Urgent! Can I apply TN as a Financial Advisor?

Post Tue Feb 05, 2008 12:08 am

I am currently interviewing with 4~5 firms about becoming a Financial Advisor, and they all showed interest in me, as long as I have no problem with my visa.

My question is: Can I apply to be a Financial Advisor using TN? Or any other Finance jobs that can be obtain a TN with?

Really need help right now! Thank you to anyone who can help me. If I need to get a lawyer and he would gurantee me get a TN as Financial Advisor I would do it for sure!

Thanks!

See i would think you could do it under management consultant.

But i need to know myself. The fact is a financial consultant (Financial adviser) should be on the TN approved list but isn't. We are professionals as much as any other position.

SO if anyone knows if this works and can be renewed then i would also love to know.

Also would pay a pro to assist in this, but don't wanna break any laws.

A financial advisor is not a management consultant. Financial advisors are not eligible for TNs, since that specific occupation is not subsumed under any of the NAFTA occupations.

You need an H-1b.
