Urgent: Is cellphone/laptop allowed during visa interview

I have UK visa appointment tomorrow in Toronto. I know that US embassy does not allow any electronic equipment including cell phone and laptop in the embassy. Is it same with UK embassy? Please help

Had my interview. It was hassle free. Not cumbersome as US visa interview. I took my cellphone too
