I became a US LPR under the Jay Treaty, I heard that after becoming a LPR under the Jay Treaty one has to wait for only one year before applying for citizenship, is this true?, I can't find any information on that matter online.

Petitioning my wife as a LPR is a 5 year process, I don't know what to do. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

If you do a search on "jay treaty" there are a few threads on here about it, not sure how much help they'll be.

If you scroll down this thread you'll find a link I posted to a PDF file. On the last two pages is a list of offices you may find of great help in finding the definitive answer to your question.
