Hi there

I am a Canadian who is considering relocationg from London (UK) to Vancouver.

I am a freelance film producer/director (documentaries) and am hoping to find out how easy it would be to get a visa for freelance work in the States. I would not be sponsored by a company as I am freelance and work under my own production company in London- and would appreciate any help or advice for special visas etc for people like me!

Thanks very much, kelly

Unless you're a super duper top of the shelf person in your field and the US will recognise you as such, then immigrant investor is probably the only real option. If you qualify under the "geewhizz" category, then you can look at EB-1 or EB-2, as you don't need a job offer if you are that good.
