If you have a gsm phone it is most likely locked to your local network. If you would like to use your phone abroad with your current provider, they will charge you outrageous prices for international roaming. Your best option is to take your phone overseas and use a local provider in Europe. The problem is that most phones which you buy now are locked to your current provider, so that it will only accept a sim chip from your provider. If you would like to know if your phone is locked or have any questions you can email me at info@cellphonesltd.net and I'd be happy to help you out.
