VAF9 - Required for Tier 5 YMS?

Hey everyone,

I just went to my VAC appointment and it was super quick and convenient! I was thrown off, however, when the woman that mailed my documents told me that she didn't need my VAF9 form; she said they only required my online application, but everything I've read online has said I needed to include it.

Has anyone else had this experience? I'm worried I may be penalized for not including it, so I'm considering just mailing the form to the UK Border Agency in Ottawa separately. I know she should probably know best, but I just don't want to be rejected for something so small.

The questions of the VAF9 form are included in the online application. The VAF9 form is only required in countries where there are no facilities for making an online application.
