visa application advice...personal liability insurance?

Post Mon Apr 19, 2010 10:30 am

Hey, I'm currently trying to apply for a working holiday visa to France for this coming September. I have all the required documents figured out except for one. I have no idea what they mean when they ask for an insurance certificate for personal liability (damages to unintentional bodily injury or property damage) and have no idea where I'm to get it! If anybody has experience with this or has any information that would help it would be much appreciated. My appointment with the consulate is fast approaching and I'm started to panic! Thanks!

Evening!
My fiance and I are having the same problem! We were at the consulate this morning, and they said it is usually obtained by the same people that do your house insurance. Just ask your broker for Personal Liability Insurance for living abroad.

We are still in the process of obtaining it!
Good Luck!

Hey. Check with Travel Cuts! They have a web site and they are geared for travelers. It was the cheapest and it had great coverage.
Good luck!
