on my P-1 visa app. i am unsure what to write under "NATURE OF THE EVENT"..?what information is this section asking for ? not sure whether it refers to my competitions in the u.s or my employer an d job duties?? Any advice?

P-1 is for performers and athletes, so it is referring to the events that you will be performing or competing in.
Is it a play, a car race, a steeplechase....
