VISA WORK PERMIT DEPENDANT VISA

Post Thu Aug 25, 2011 9:06 am

I am on a – VISA WORK PERMIT DEPENDANT VISA that expires 12/10/2011.

My wife renewed her Visa (Tier 2) 4 months ago and my son and I did not submit our applications along with hers when she did it.

We are all resident in the UK.

She is now on a new Work Permit (Tier 2) and Visa with the same employer.

What I have Done So Far

1. I put £1200.00 into a joint account with my wife on 04/08/2011. I believe this money (2x533 = £1066) needs to be in the account to cover my son and I. Based on my Visa expiry date (12/10/2011) and when I put the money in the account, I will not be able to make it to 3 months before my Visa has expired.

What I Need to Know

Are there any options I can take if I have not had funds in my account for 3 months? It will be 2 months when my Visa expires on 12 October 2011.

Is it possible to get an extension beyond 12/10/2011 so I meet the 3 month requirement?

I’d appreciate any help or advice you can give me to on this process; I've hit a brick wall and don’t know how to progress my application.

You could provide your wife's personal bank account statements or any other savings account statements for the past 3 months.
