Visit over the holidays

Post Tue Dec 21, 2010 3:57 pm

Just moved to the US Nov. 22nd, 2010, was admitted with Class S13 stamp and a stamp for I-551 application in process and authorized to work. I was allowed in as an American Indian born in Canada under the Jay treaty. I do not have an Alien number, do not actually need an I-551, no I-94 and have not received any government documentation yet. I do have utility bills, employer letter and condo lease as proof of US address. I have 2 questions:
1. Will the above be enough to allow me back in without the actual "Green Card".
2. What do I put on the CBSA Declaration Card as an address? I was thinking my US address as I will be a permanent resident, however I do have residency ties in Canada yet as I still have a house for sale and right now my ID is all Canadian. Am I a returning resident or a US resident?

Well that would be three questions.
