A message from Elections Canada (Special Voting Rules)

Elections Canada is currently reviewing the files of Canadian electors temporarily residing outside Canada. We wish to ensure that you receive your special ballot voting kit on time and at the correct address when the next federal electoral event is called. If you moved since the last general election (January 23, 2006), please confirm your new mailing address and contact numbers by communicating with Elections Canada.

If you have returned to Canada to reside, please provide us with your new contact information so that you can be included in the National Register of Electors.

If you know other Canadians residing outside Canada who might wish to be added to the International Register of Electors, please have them contact Elections Canada by going to our Web site at www.elections.ca or visiting the nearest Canadian diplomatic mission.

For more information or to find out what we have on file, you can contact us by phone at 613-993-2975 or 1-800-463-6868 (toll-free in Canada and the United States), or 001-800-514-6868 (toll-free in Mexico), or by fax at 613-998-8393 or 1-800-363-4796 (toll-free in Canada and the United States).

I wish to thank you for taking the time to respond.

Lyne Morin
Special Voting Rules Administrator
