Any new arrivals who can't make out the English might like to take a look through this book: "Watching the English" by Kate Fox.

Unfortunately, it only concerns itself with England, so will be of limited value to the quite large contingent on here living in other parts of the UK, but as far as England goes, I'd say it was spot on, and pretty funny along the way.

It only seems to be available in hardback at a price of £20, so you might like to ask for it in your local library!
