Watching the NHL in Bristol

Post Fri Nov 27, 2009 10:58 am

Hi all,

Originally from Edmonton, I've been in Bristol for 10 years now. Great city. I miss home, but I love it here.

Anyone out there had any luck finding some NHL games in any pubs? I've watched a few matches online and at my Czech buddy's place (Czech TV) but haven't been successful seeing any matches in any pubs. With Saturday matches earlier in the day it's a great opportunity to catch some games!

I'm hoping to see the Oil play the Stars somewhere on the 5th of December. Any suggestions?

Many thanks!

Hey redehm. I spent this past summer living up in Aberdeen, Scotland and had to see game 7 of the cup finals back in June. myp2p.eu is a good website where you can watch live streams. The most difficult part about finding games in pubs in my experience is the time change (esp. to the mountain time zone) makes it near impossible. I picked up a few cans of beer and watched a pretty reasonable stream in the middle of night so if I were you I`d check out that option. Good luck.
