What are the most beautiful places in Canada???

If we travel or live abroad, we usually come back to visit right? Here's a the place to meet other "re-pats" and Canadians who have returned.

What are the most beautiful places in Canada???

Post Tue May 25, 2010 10:48 am

I've been to Canada numerous times and have enjoyed every visit, but nothing compares to the Canadian Rockies. I think they are even more spectacular than the American Rockies. For scenery and wildlife, would suggest an itinerary such as the one I took back in 1995: four national parks along the Alberta/British Columbia provincial line: Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho. It doesn't get much better than that!

Agree with the Rockies, particularly Banff and Lake Louise for sure...

Also
Broken Group Islands, BC
Queen Charlotte Islands, BC
Algonquin Provincial Park, ON
Yukon River, YK

I'm also pretty partial to the view of Vancouver from the air... a big city nestled at the bottom of snow-capped mountains as far as you can see.

But I haven't been east of Montreal and I think there are some gorgeous places in the Maritimes, and I think that Nunavut is meant to be beautiful as well.

the Canadian Rockies every where you look but especially travelling west out of Red Deer towards the columbia icefields on Hwy#11 you come across abraham lake which is jaw dropping.
The queen charlottes too are spectacular, just being a mix of ocean, old forest and mountains

The most beautiful places in Canada are:

Niagara Falls
Banff National Park Alberta
Lake Louise

Try visiting Niagara Falls when the sun is setting as it provides a really good view and if you are lucky enough you might see a rainbow. Also the Friday night firework makes the trip to Niagara Falls worthwhile. So I suggest planning for the Niagara Falls on Friday evenings.

I can vouch for Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Stanley Park in Vancouver, B.C. So nice. I'd move to either place if I could.
