Nah they lock everything up.by college i think thts like.high school for you guys right?

Apparently Zoom is the cheapest to heathro and they allow pets too (Ive always found gatwick to be cheaper than heathrow too). HOWEVER My bf has flown with zoom 4 times and had a minimum of two hours delay (both ways). Going back last time it was delayed 24 hours x-x Got up at 4am for nothing!

My boyfriend flew by zoom last time he came here. But. I don't remember if he had a good experience or not. I think I'd prefer Air Canada, if only because that's what I've flown before to get to and from the UK. I've had good experiences all around, plus they let you bring on a -lot- of luggage without paying extra charges. Two large bags and two carry ons. S'pretty nice. And I have a lot of stuff to take with me.

Er. No. Not from what I understand of it.
College there is like finishing school here. Some people go to it, some don't. And college here is like your university.

My boyfriend went to St. Georges College or something like that, so I know what you're talking about at least.

*also just realizes something about 'Calgary'* Is that where your boyfriend is from? Make sure he takes care of his biometric thing as well. I believe (because that's what I was told) he'll have to go to Edmonton to get that done.

Also, Air Canada (I looked it up) allows 2-pieces of carry-on (weighing up to 22 lbs--10kg each) and (just say for economy class, which is easiest to fly) 2 bags (EACH weighing up to 50lbs--23kg and total linear dimensions at 158cm--62in). I've found that they allow the most luggage on board, hence why I've flown with them, and will be again. They also allow (for females) on purse within certain size restrictions as a 3rd carry-on item.

[[ Hopefully that helps someone trying to figure out who to book through ]]

Yeah I know. I just found out about the biometrics myself when I first joined this site last weak. I basically had a freakout. >.>

I live in Calgary as well, but I'm not applying for my visa until the last week of February, at which time I'll make my appointment for the biometric test in Edmonton. I'm not sure WHY one has to go to Edmonton and not just any police station, but apparently they do. If only the high speed train was already built. >.>

Could he not get a ride from his parents? They could make a day trip out of it. Go to the mall and the water park and stuff.

He doesnt get on well with his parents since the day he said he was coming to England. kinda my fault i guess Sad

Theyve pulled out every stop they can to stop him getting things done! I thought this biometrics thing was yet to be introduced to the UK? Certainly been nothing mentioned about it on the news over here!

[Edit]
Found a thing on a gvt. website, had a list of countries included in it, and canada wasnt on it.

Alas i cant post links yet!

I'm aware. I was already linked to that site. Gimme a mo', and I'll find the site that definately gives the impression it is indeed here.

Found it:
visainfoservices. com/
visainfoservices. com/en_CA/appointment/selectFacility.html

Make sure you add all the appropriate beginnings to these two sites.
