Hi Everyone!

I'm a 20 year old girl from Alberta/BC. I graduate in August 2007 w/ Math Major & Business Minor, and plan to live/work in England for a year. I'm going to apply for the ancestry visa as my Grandma is Welsh. I just wanted to introduce myself, as I just found this, and might be asking some stupid questions such as.

What is a supply teacher? I've heard lots of australians talking about it on the Contiki boards (I'm going on two topdeck tours in Sept/Oct 07), and saw it mentioned here, so wondering what it is.

Thanks so much!

I thought that was a common term in Canada too, certainly I used it in school.
A supply teacher is another word for a substitute teacher.

Thanks you so much!

I've never heard it used before today cruiseing the different forums/message boards.
- Maybe it depends on where you're from!
