What is the best country to work and live in?

Post Sun May 02, 2010 3:05 pm

Hey
My boyfriend and I are planning to travel around Europe for a couple months. We want to live and work in one country for a month or two. Just wanted comments and advice on which country would be the best to work and live in?

I would suggest that you consider Amsterdam because it is a major international hub and many people speak English. They are also very friendly and liberal. You can easily travel from Amsterdam to other EU countries at will if you wish. Organise some interviews before you leave by searching out potential employers and e-mailing them about your idea. I am sure that something can be arranged. Let me know. I am in Cyprus in the Mediterranean. Not a good place to work.

congratulations on Amsterdam becoming a country, and being so quickly admitted to the EU.
