Hi,

What Kind of visa should I be applying for to work in the USA and live in the USA fulltime?

My Wife also has a Internet business can she operate it in the USA? If so is there a VISA required for it?

Thoughts and comments are appreciated.

What sort of qualifications do you have? As a Canadian citizen, about your only option is a TN, of which there is tonnes and tonnes of information posted here in this forum.

WHY do you want to live in the US? The economy is quickly spiralling to recession (despite what Georgie says) and jobs are getting harder and harder to come by even for those of us already legal to work here. Getting an employer to sponsor you for a TN is going to be harder still I imgaine.

I'm a engineering technologist and a project management professional.

I have been offered a very interesting position in the us which is ground breaking.

When i tried for TN's a while back, some of the larger companies did not want to hire (you really do not need a sponsor) as the visa was temporary and they never got back so basically that's what i assumed.

Your wife may be able to do an E (investor visa) or an L-1 (intracompany transfer) by setting up a corporation in the U.S.

You should speak to a lawyer on this.

Good Luck
