what's better: New Delhi or Bangalore

Hiya
DH got a wonderful job oprotonity in New Delhi or Bangalore. we're a family with 2 little kids: 1Y and 3Y.
which city is more western and easier to live? espacially with the little ones.
what about health? am I really need to be worry for their health there?
do you have any idea the cost of living there?
any suggestion what to ask for our relocation (They really want him!)?
The job start at June! so we really need to make a quick decision!

I don’t know about your job profile but both cities are good. However, climate and social conditions are better in Bangalore. There is no need to worry about the heath of your kids.

Well I think by now you would have made your decision,but i had also been to India few years back for business travel and for those who are visiting India for the job opportunity ,then i better request them not to be in Delhi specially when you are non-Indian.

I don't had any bad experience in Delhi..but the city is too over crowded,huge traffic jams and very hot and humid in summers temperatures were as much as 48 Degrees and in the winter it is as low as 1 degree ..in Monsoon huge water lobs in roads..and since its been the capital always had a huge threat of terror activities and much often foreigners were targeted.

So better suggest to take Bangalore or Hyderabad as they are much peaceful cities and more advance then Delhi,had more western culture as a matter of fact Bangalore is called the Pub city of India and better favorable climate too.

I will suggest you to go "Bangalore".This is because Bangalore is one of the finest and cleanest cities in India,plus the IT hub Of India too.Here you can live freely with your kids without any hesitations and fear.

Cost of living is higher as compare to "New Delhi", but the facilities are good here.

I think New Delhi is better.
