What should I bring with me or have shipped?

LOL.you don't need a converter! You just need an adapter for the plug in part. A converter is a whole other thing that changes the electricity, so you won't need that :)

You should be able to walk into any travel store and pick up an adapter. If you're bringing it with you on your travels before you get here I would suggest you find some to cover that area as well.

230V should be fine. I just had a peak at my portable phone and it said 230/240. So it should be ok. I just find it odd that it only says 230V. My HP laptop says 100-240V so has a slightly wider range. I do remember them mentioning an international warranty as well. I would double check on your computer to see if it can be used on your travels before hand. I haven't seen any dell advertisement on tv or on flyers here so I'm going to guess they're not that big here.

When in doubt just go into a travel store and tell them what you need. Or you can wait until you get here. The first few days I borrowed one from my hotel while I found another one which was pretty easy. My adapter here only cost about $10-20 for a package of two. I can't remember now, but that's pretty close.
