I am actively looking for a public relations position in the US. I am a Canadian citizen with an undergraduate degree (interdisciplinary, mostly social science and humanities classes), a graduate certificate in PR and Corporate Communications and 2 years experience as a PR Specialist and Copywriter.
What are my visa options? As far as I can tell, the technical writer position on the NAFTA list has very similar job tasks compared with an entry-level PR job. Is this my only option? Or?
I'd like to know all of my options so that I am not seen as an unnecessary hassle to potential employers.
Thanks,
A

I'm in advertising and I came down as a Management Consultant...not sure, but that might be close to your scenario as well.
