WHM application - passport question

Postby replicator on Sat Mar 08, 2008 8:41 pm

Hi everyone,

I submitted the online application for the WHM, and I am planning to book the biometric appointment in Toronto. The Worldbridge website says I can either leave my application and documents with them, or I can send the application and documents on my own. My question is, will they require me to leave my passport with them at the VAC, even if I choose to send in the application to the High Commission on my own? I would like to travel for a few days out of the country immediately after the biometric appointment so I need the passport for a week after the appointment.

I would rather not reschedule my appointment if I don't have to due to my work schedule, but if they take my passport at the VAC then I'll have no choice I suppose.

Also any tips on WHM for an older applicant (29 yrs old - single, no kids) would be great! It seems most applicants here are on the younger range. I don't know if/how this will affect my application.

Thanks
