Hi all,
I am applying for a Working Holiday Maker visa.
I may have secured a job in London before my VAC appointment. If I do secure a job, should I have these details available (e.g. letter of employment, salary, start date, contact details, etc.)
I am concerned because the purpose of the WHM is primarily travelling, with some employment to support travel. However, if I show that I am coming to England for four months and will be working for the majority of that, I may be denied. Any thoughts?
Thanks,

put as much details as you possibly can - get an employment letter stating that you will temp be working there - get them to put you will be working there for 4 months but not how long you are going to England for.

As a WHM visa is good for 2 years with one year working - so 4 months is nothing but a temp job to give you money

the more details the better
just be clear in all your details - don't make the job seem anything more then temporary

I'm sure a lot has changed in three years, but a friend of mine was applying for the WHM while I was applying for the UK Ancestry visa to work in London for an 8 month co-op, and she specified in her letter that she was going to do an internship and be looking for work, etc. They rejected her visa on the basis that your primary intentions have to be travel, experience, yada yada, and that you 'may' take up work to make ends meet. We had to drive to Ottawa, reapply and convince them that she is not going for work specifically.
