The Canadian Expat Association will be compiling a list of people on October 1st that are nominated as The Most Influential Canadian Expats in the World.

Who would you nominate?

James Gosling, who among other things invented the Java programming language.

Keanu Reeves. He's saved the world lots.

I'm sure if it's put to a vote it would probably be Sidney Crosby.

Any list that short-lists Kim Campbell as influential inside or outside canada can't be serious (she probably submitted her own name), so here is my nominee:

Slightly more seriously, David Frum was a speechwriter for the Republicans for a few years including for 'W' while he was president. So help helped start 2 wars. I guess that's pretty high 'influentiousity' as George would say...
