Wife wanted to move back home with family

Here is the situation. Married for 7 years, living in the USA. Haven't finished immigration stuff here since they kept moving us from left to right in the land of paperwork. We just got overwhelmed and honestly life happen.

I am ready to just pack everything up and move back to Canada. I have a son (which I assume wouldn't have a hard time crossing over since I am a Canuck) but how do I do for my husband? What paper do I fill? He doesn't want to become Canadien, just be able to live there.

I have a house ready for me back home so there is no payment for me to do beside your basic bills of grocery and stuff like that.

Any ideas?

I saw a post from 2007-2008 but wonder if laws have changed since then
