Will I be able to work?

Post Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:02 pm

Hello,

My husband's company has offered him a job in London and I will be joining him. We should be there for three years. I was just wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to work while we are there? His work will be sponsoring his visa and I know they will apply so I can join him but I don't know what that means so I can work. I am 29 so I believe I can still apply for a youth working holiday visa, which I know I can work for 12 month on this visa.

Also, my work in Canada has even said I could work remotely from London, but I am not sure If I will need a Visa to do that.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Just check with your husband's company what kind of application they will make for you. If it's as your husband's dependent, you will be allowed to work.
