Winter Wonderland Morning!

Post Wed Nov 21, 2007 6:26 am

Dedicated to those of you who won't get to experience a white winter --

As I drove to work early this morning a soft white blanket was falling around me. The sky was black velvet and the snowflakes were like fluffy down feathers dancing through the sky. Again, I stand in awe at the wonder of God's creation!

:) Allyssa

PS -- I am sure the ride home will be a bit treacherous, but for now I will enjoy the beauty!

Yeah, it was fun for a few days, now I'm sitting here shivering. Supposed to be -27 on Sunday, I'm not looking forward to that!

The snow in Canada IS one of the most beautiful things. I love it at the start of the winter, but it gets depressing when its melting and all muddy.

It doesn't melt when we sit for most of the winter at -15 or lower (sometimes much lower!). But I agreee come spring and everything gets sloppy, that sucks.
