Work in the USA? What type of VISA?

Yes, really, this company has 25 employees, 4 people in management, 2 owners (engineers), 1 sales and 1 HR/accounting person. Really I do not want another company, I know these guys, they know me. We want to help each other out. There is NO procurement department. It would be me.that is it. I want to at least work there, Dual citizenship would be a dream if you will.

Another reason to join this company is that I am experienced in setting up MRP systems and particularly that of the banking industry. Initially the job is layed out that I spend 6 months setting up their manufacturing system. In saying that, am I better off to apply as an IT professional?

If you meet the qualifications for it and that's what they put on the letter.
