I am a canadian citizen working abroad for a limited time for a Canadian company. My wife is a Canadian resident but not a citizen and she is with me abroad, will the time she is with me be calculated for her residency due to the fact that I am a Canadian resident working for a canadian company.
Thanks,

how did she get the Canadian residency? Thru being married to you, or some other visa? If her visa is marriage based, as long as she is living with you, her citizen sponsor, she cannot lose her status in Canada, however any time spent out of the country may not be counted toward eligibility for citizneship.

If she has permanent residency thru some other type of visa, she may want to check with CIC to find out how long she can be out of the country before her status may be revoked.
