working in mex

i am thinking of moving to mex, mazatlan or PV etc and would like to work 3-4 days a week in the hotels,\ i speak eng, french and romanian, will learn spanish. is this possible? hard to find jobs? do i absolutely need a fm3?

You absolutely need an FM3 if you want to be working legally. Without it, you risk fines, jail, and/or deportation and barring from the country. That said, it seems to be common practice for people to risk it.

You'd not earn very good wages working on the beach, though you might find find some niche spot making use of your languages.

Ever think about teaching languages instead? Much easier to get legal employment doing so, or obtaining an FM3 to offer your services independently, directly to hotels and such.
