So I have my Spouse's visa and am Now in the UK and I have been told by different sources that's I can't find a job for six months, was wondering if any of you know? I also got a confusing bit of paper with my visa saying:

The entry clearance in your passport enables you to remain in the UK for six months only. Immediately after your marriage/ceremony takes place you must apply to the UK Border Agency (address below) to regularise your stay. Please note that are prohibited from taking employment and should not leave the UK until you have regularised your immigration status with the UK border Agency.

I'm thinking they sent the wrong bit of paper with my visa because we are already married and at the top of this bit of paper it says Joining your fiance/fiancee/civil partner in the UK?

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tasha,

I hope this is not the case as I will be landing on Aug. 22nd with the same scenario.
I currently have UK interviews lined up; recruiters know my situation (spousal visa) and have told me that it shouldn't pose a problem.

It sounds like you've got the wrong letter - keep plugging away. Wink

Cheers,
W.
