Hello,

I am currently a student in Grade 12 living in Canada.

I wish to work in NYC after post-secondary and possibly do my post-secondary in US.

My question is what are some of the careers that US (particularly NYC, or NYC Area)hires from Canada? Or has demand on?

Thanks in Advance,

Well, without a university degree first, it is unlikely you would be able to apply for a work visa.

You could get a student visa to go to university in NYC, and then after you have your degree apply for a work visa (TN). Check out any of the information posted in the sticky threads regarding TN visas to see the list of careers that are eligible.
