Hi.
I'm a Canadian student in Belgium for the year, and I'm going to be heading over to Pardubice, Czech Republic for the World Juniors this year. I plan on arriving on Boxing Day for the Canada-Czech game and seeing the whole tournament while traveling around on non-gamedays. Just wondering if there were other Canadians on here who will be there. Possibly we could meet up, catch the games and be a crazy bunch of canucks, freaking out the europeans. Here's to a Canadian 4-peat this year!

Sean.

It runs from the end of December through the first week or so into January. I'd love to go but I don't think I can convince my friends to go with me.

After dominating the Russians in the Super Series, our guys are looking good for this year's world juniors. There's a cheap hostel in Pardubice called Hostel Trim - 15 euros per night, and it's a private room.

Hi. I'm living in Poland and am thinking of heading to Czech Rep for the tournament. I've been to the country a few times and believe me, it's a terrific place to visit, even in winter. I'm just wondering about how to get tickets when you don't have a credit card. I might have to make a trip in advance just to buy tickets in person.

Why does the tournament even bother going to Europe when no fans seems to show up for the games? I remember when it was hosted by Halifax a few years back and there were near sellouts for games between Sweden and Finland. If you ask me the tourney should be in Canada.
Eh?

Hey!

We are 4 Canadians (3 guys, 1 girls) that are going to that game! We still don't have tickets but we are trying hard to get them. I (the girl) am going to wear a Canada jersey and paint my face. The guys are going to wear no shirts and paint their bodies red and white. We are also hoping to find a few Canadian flags to wave. Yeah, we are going hardcore for this game. Feel free to join us!
