Allo! Well ill start off by telling my situation

: I am a Canadian citizen from Quebec, and I have a fiancee that is a British citizen. We have been together for more than 3 years and we got proof of it with photos and plane tickets. My fiancee has been coming back and forth for 2 years here, so he is always trying to stay for 6 months than go back, and then come back after a while. Right now, he has a labour market opinion that is still getting processed after 2 months! ughhh So now we either going to stay here and continue on for him to get a work permit and then a study permit or I go to England and get a Youth mobility visa (YMS) and then a study permit. We are going to get married but in England , you gotta be 21 for a married partner visa and etc. So I cant get that permit. So alright there is the situation

I would like to know If I get my YMS visa, can I cancel it and just go to a study permit? I know you can't switch between other point based visas but I want to switch to a propper visa. I know I should call one of the
uk gouv. but I hear they dont really answer well, and they make you pay a fee, and i think i already spend a lot on speaking with my fiancee on the phone. So I'll be skint If I do that. So If you have any advice as well, it would be highly appreciated. the research is horrid!!! So very confusing, now I know what my fiancee had to go thru when he was looking into a work permit in canada!
