yeah that would be ok. As long as your application date is no more then 30 days since you recieved your bank statement.

as for jobs, ive been here a couple months now, and am going to wait a couple more until i start working, i wanted to have a summer off for once to travel, camp, go to festivals ect. I'm a chef so and as far as i can tell, it shouldnt be too hard to get a job in that field since it's always in demand. I've looked around and found quite a few openings so im hoping i'll have the same luck in sept or so.

As for other jobs, i couldn't say, hopefully it won't be to hard to get a job here when you come.

no problem at all.

yes thats correct. having it dated 5 days before you apply for your visa is perfect.

and if you're postdating your visa (like i did), in the online application form there's a spot that asks for you're departure date, so just write in the date there, and your visa will automatically be dated for then. i didn't mention it at all during my appointment at worldbridge, and mine turned out fine.

When searching for jobs, is it advisable to put down your visa status? If so, where I should I put it?

I was also wondering about the current economic situation in the UK and how it is affecting local jobs, and what the chances of getting a job under the Youth Mobility Scheme would be.

I was almost detered from applying for the Visa because I was afraid of not being able to get a job and having to come home.

I have yet to apply for my Visa, but was also thinking about leaving mid August... If I wait til the end of July to apply and all goes well with my application, does anyone know if I could expect to have my Visa within 2 weeks?

if everything goes well, you should be able to get it within two weeks - mine only took 5 business days, but it isn't guaranteed that it will happen that fast.
