Two questions: What are the gas and diesel prices like, and how available is access to the Internet? I haven't been down in about 15 years, been working like crazy to be able to emmigrate there, so am getting close to my goal now

Gas and diesel prices are high, considering that we produce the stuff here. Access to internet is widely available.

Gas prices are set by the state and are about 70 CDN cents a litre right now. Not sure on diesel, sorry, but that too would be a fixed price. Prices haven't moved in the 8 years I've been here.

Gas for home water heating and cooking is also set by the state and is subject to some movement. Right now, a 30 L tank (good for a family of four for about 3 to 4 weeks) runs around 26 CDN dollars.

Broadband Internet is widely available. Telmex offers a package with a landline and hi-speed Internet for about 35 CDN dollars a month. There are cable Internet options as well.
