Everybody here in the state of Yucatan is getting ready for our Canadian visitors this winter. Any questions? Concerns? Favorite Mayan sites, towns, restaurants? Maybe we can help!

Whoops! - that's in the state of Quintana Roo, in Playa del Carmen - which is on the Yucatan peninsula, but not in the state of Yucatan. If you're planning on going to Chichen Itza, however, we do have an article about it in our online magazine.

I operate a website called "Yolisto," which is a growing online community for expatriates living in Yucatan, Mexico. We offer image, video, and blog hosting, chat, classified advertising, and an active forum containing almost all of the information anyone could possible be looking for regarding moving and starting a new life in Merida, or Yucatan, Mexico.

Hi,
Two questions: What are the gas and diesel prices like, and how available is access to the Internet? I haven't been down in about 15 years, been working like crazy to be able to emmigrate there, so am getting close to my goal now :)
