Travel Honduras - Honduras Travel Guide

Traveling in Honduras

Honduras is a beautiful country and a pleasure to travel in. Things are a little more laid-back here and also you'll find prices lower than the surrounding countries. Tourism in Honduras is still relatively low-key which makes it a great destination for the independent traveller. Petty crime, as in much of Central America can be a problem. Don't wander around the poor areas of town after dark or even in the downtown areas of any sizable cities. Smaller towns are generally more safe. Just take the usual precautions.
