Dutch Travel Dictionary

Dutch / English Translations

Dutch is simliar in nature to German, but also different. Many of the words you'll notice are the same as German, but spelt and pronounced a slightly different way. The most noticeable thing about Dutch is the letter "G" - To pronounce you have to make a sound out of the back of your throat, it's a little difficult. People in Holland however generally speak very excellent English, and you probably won't need to speak much Dutch at all.
