Angola is located in Central Africa, with its capital being Luanda. Namibia, Zambia, Republic of Congo, and the Democratic Republic of Congo are its neighboring countries. There is a process to gain entry to this wonderful country. Some factors to consider include:

* Visas are required but cannot be obtained upon arrival.
* All passports must be valid for the next six months and have two blank pages in them.
* All visitors must have a written invitation from a private individual, organization, or company stating that they will take responsibility for your stay.
* A valid International Vaccination Certificate must be provided showing a yellow fever vaccination is up to date.

This may seem like quite a process, but the reward of experiencing the country and natural wonder will certainly be worth it.

The roadway post bordering Namibia is the only way to gain access to Angola via driving. There are no rail or bus systems that offer lines to Angola.
