Brussels, Belgium’s capital is a very cosmopolitan city with plenty of nightclubs and great restaurants. And, the chocolate shops abound, offering a delicacy rivaled no where else in the world. Brussels is a town of many cultures. There are distinct areas of the city: Flemish, French, even African.
The architecture and museums are musts when visiting Brussels. In particular, don’t miss the Jewel in the Crown, an Art Nouveau museum or the Musees Royaux de Beaux-Arts, for more traditional art.

Antwerp is also a wonderful city. Antwerp is modern and sleek, and today considered a European hot spot for those who want to see and be seen. The city also has a beautiful old town, with cobblestone streets, impressive architecture and a massive cathedral. This is the place to wine, dine and shop.
If you’re interested in the beach during your visit, travel to Ostend. The beaches here have fine, soft sand and the pier promenade is a great place for walking and finding vendors, shops and food. Ostend is very popular with Belgians and Dutch, who often come by bus just for the day during July and August. The city also contains a beautiful Neo-Gothic cathedral and several museums, including a Museum of Modern Art featuring the work of James Ensinor, who was born in Ostend.

The main international airport is in Brussels. However, Antwerp also has an international airport, servicing a few flights from London. Brussels Airlines is the main national carrier. Many visitors enter Belgium via Luxembourg, as well.
