Experience a tropical jungle forest on a raft as you sail along Grade 1 rapids and cascades on the Navua River? Keep your eyes peeled for the exotic wildlife that make their home along the river. If you’re a flower lover than a tour of the Garden of the Sleeping Giants is a must.

Located in the Gorgeous Sabeto Valley, the Garden of the Sleeping Giants is where you’ll find the largest collection of orchids in all of Fiji. While you’re there check out the absolutely beautiful view of the island from Vuda Lookout. You could also take a tour of the capital of Fiji, the harbor city of Suva.

You’ll see many sights including the President’s residence and the Thurston Botanical Gardens. Visit the museum, do some local shopping and grab a bite of the local cuisine at one of the restaurants. This city is built on a peninsula, and the architecture found along the harbor is a testament to its colonial roots. If you’re willing to travel a little off the beaten path, take a tour of the Bouma National Heritage Park.

The park is located on Taveuni (the garden isle) and there’s lots of things to do. Snorkeling, mountain trekking, kayaking, or swim in one of the three waterfalls, t name a few. It’s a large park so give yourself plenty of time to see, and experience, as much of it as you can. If you’ve got time, you might consider fitting in a tour of the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere.

The temple is located in Nadi, which is located on the island of Viti Levu. The temple is a three-part Sri Sive Subramaniya temple. The intricate craftsmanship of traditional Dravidian style of the temple is rarely seen anywhere other than India, and the height weight and width of each design has a religious meaning.
