Homewood Suites by Hilton, which is a well-known international brand of residential style, all suite hotels, recently announced the launch of their very own applications for iTouch and iPhone users.
These new mobile apps will allow guests to manage their experience with Homewood Suites by Hilton right from the palm of their hand on their iTouch or iPhone mobile device. The new applications enable hotel guests to find and book their room or view or make changes to an existing reservation, quickly and easily.
Guests will also be able to use the new mobile applications to check their HHonors point balance or redeem the HHonor points that they have. Guests can also call the hotel or visit the full HTML with a simple click. In addition, guests will be able to use the eCheck-in feature up to thirty-six hours before they arrive at the hotel. They are also able to use the map and GPS feature to navigate to their destination. Guest will be able to save time and money by viewing all of the current domestic rate specials and other deals.
Earlier this month, Hilton Worldwide announced the launch of these new iPod Touch and iPhone mobile applications for seven of its locations. Currently, the hospitality industry is looking for the best ways to allow customers to make their hotel reservations from their mobile devices.
According to a report made by Hilton Worldwide, there has been at least a fifty-nine percent increase in the revenue earned through mobile devices, in comparison to the first quarter of this year. The majority of the revenue is generated from Hilton Worldwide’s official mobile-enables website. By adding these new mobile applications for the iTouch and iPhone devices, mobile revenue growth will continue to spur, increasing with each new quarter.
The Homewood Suites by Hilton was first opened twenty years ago in 1989. Today, the brand features over two hundred eight-five hotels, in addition to around one hundred twenty properties that are still in the development stages. The hotels provide guests with high-speed Internet access, daily hot breakfast and a reception featuring beverages and a light meal four days a week as well as many other fantastic amenities.
