Ireland for a Year?

Post Thu Apr 12, 2012 11:57 am

I'm looking to live in Ireland for a year on a work visa, just to get out of Montreal for a bit. I've been reading a lot about people's experiences and many say it's not worth it! I was wondering how it is living there as a person in my early 20s, and how easy it is to get a job.
I've always wanted to go!

Hey!!!

I was going to do the same thing, but I'm going to the U.K. instead now. The unemployment rate is extremely high right now, so finding a job will be hard unless you want to work at a bar or in retail. The advice I was given was to apply for an ireland and uk working visa, just in case I couldn't find work in Ireland and had to escape to the U.K.
