The predominate meats are lamb, chicken, turkey and duck. This Muslim country shuns alcohol, but non-Muslims can find some alcohol at night clubs, restaurants and quality hotels. No alcohol is available during Ramadan.
Attractions in Bahrain include world-famous Formula One Racing, the Grand Mosque located in Marina Comish, the first ever oil well in Bahrain, rightly named “Oil Well # 1, and the King Fahad Causeway. This 25 Km-long bridge connects Bahrain with Saudi Arabia and the restaurants, shaped like towers, offer a spectacular view of these two neighboring countries.
